One week in
So, Harmon just finished his first week of kindergarten. We look at him and wonder if it's possible for him to have grown up already. He sounds different, he looks different. He seems so much more mature. We look at him and then look at each other and note how happy we are that we waited to send him to kindergarten. He comes home with stories of all the things he's done each day. He's been excited about gym, Spanish, the library. He told me that his favorite part of kindergarten, so far, is “all the work!” I hope it’s always like that! He is happy at St. Francis and that happiness totally validates our decision to send him there. He’s so comfortable and so calm, it’s almost like he’s been there for years. We were nervous about the transition and, although we know it’s only one week in, it’s going as well as we could have expected.
