Lost in all the talk of kindergarten is the fact that SIMON also moved into a new room at school. He is staying back at Annie's and he left the Butterfly room for the greener pastures of the Lightning Bug room. We loved when Harmon was in the Lightning Bug room because there is a huge treehouse in that room that the kids get to play in all the time. I'm sure Simon will love the treehouse as much, if not more, than big brother did. There is also a lot more independence in this room. They are responsible for things like getting and unpacking their own lunch, cleaning up after themselves, putting their toys away, etc. I think Simon will do great and I'm hoping his new teacher, Ms. Angie, will appreciate his fire! It's hard to believe this is our second boy in this classroom at Annie's. How time flies!
