Over the last few weeks, Harmon has settled into a new bedtime routine. Since he gave up his bottle back in December, we've spent every night reading to him and then rocking him until he falls asleep. This is awesome time with him, mostly because the whole falling-asleep-on-us thing reminds us of the days when he was REALLY little and would nap on us for HOURS.Anyway, these days, we will read a book or two, sing a few verses of Old MacDonald and then he wants to go to bed with Elmo and kitty (shown above). We lay him down and cover him up and then tuck Elmo in on one side and kitty on the other. He then tells us "night, night" as we close his bedroom door. It's all very sweet and hassle-free but yet another reminder of what a big boy he is becoming.
