Almost football season

Yesterday was Big Ten football media day in Chicago. And, my beloved Wolverines were picked to finish second behind ... Ohio State. What a shocker. We're getting quite used to looking up at the Buckeyes not only in the standings but also when we're laying on the field after missing tackles watching them score touchdown after touchdown. Anyway, here are some thoughts on the upcoming season and the state of the program in general:

And, when you have a 7-5 season, you drop three of four games to Notre Dame and four of five games to the Buckeyes AND drop six straight road openers, you NEED a big batch of it to make you feel better:

In short, not too sure how I feel about this season. Luckily, my Tigers are playing well so I won't have to focus on Michigan football for a while.

Because it's been so damn hot, Kevin actually wore a short sleeve shirt to work today. It looked so weird to me as he usually has on a long sleeve shirt and tie. As we were going our separate ways this morning, he asked if a red vest would make him look like he worked in a hardware store and I died. Ace is the place for the helpful hardware man!
